What a terrible feeling it is when you are driving down the interstate drive past an exit and you see a sign that says, next exit 10 mile. You hear a ding, look down and see the indicator that says your gas Indicator shows red. We all know what that means. Get to a fuel station ASAP.
If you haven’t prayed yet that morning, now is a good time. Nearest station is 10 mile away and visions go through your mind of walking in the heat or Cold depending on where you live.-Not a pleasent thought!
When you do get your prayer answered and you make it to a station it is important that you put the proper fuel in your tank. Putting desil fuel in a vehicle that takes regular gas will ruin the engine and tank.
This it is important to put the right kind of fuel in the tank or the wrong grade can cause it to run improper and reduce the life expectancy.
All automobiles are created without fuel in the tank and created and designed to be fueled by a particular fuel that is essential for quality of operation and life expectancy.
Our bodies are created to run on particular fuels. Putting the wrong fuels in can cause damage to our bodies, destroy or limit our number of years and the quality of years we have. It can determine if we die at 40 or live to 90. We all know that if we do not feel well we cannot really enjoy the quality of life no matter the number of years.
? Does it not make sense to just put in the right fuel?
We may ensist on putting into our bodies fuel that we know is damaging and shortening the number of years we live and quality of life or thinking we are enjoying ourselves when in reality we are miserable.
You may say,I’ll do what I want to do, it’s my body and my business what I put in it. All so True!
So the quality of life we live or how long is a decision we make. It is true that many are born with health issues beyond control and not by choice. However they do have a choice of making the best of what they have. These are the ones that appreciate life more than ever and take extra care of the body that God has given.
Upon the birth of our Phisical bodies we are born of the water. When that water breaks it’s time to come into this world.
Our physical bodies were created to last three score and 10 or age 80. What we have beyond that depends upon the type of fuel we use.
We also have a spiritual body that is designed to live forever. The spiritual food we put into it depends upon if we live under the God’s curse or His blessings. It depends upon where we want to spend eternity, eternal torment where there is suffering, gnashing of the teeth, torment beyond description or eternal life where we spend eternity with our Lord in happiness, joy, peace, love, where there is no pain, tears nor sorrow.
Our phisical bodies are temporary and our spiritual bodies are permenent. So if you had a decision where you wanted to spend eternity which would you choose? How much would you give to have eternal life if you knew you were going to die tomorrow? I don’t believe there is anybody on this earth that would choose the eternal torment.
Yet the truth is that many more choose eternal torment rather than an eternal life of happiness. (The things that we want the most is rejected and the things we hate is accepted. Why?
Jesus said, those that believes in me and does my will, will never die
It goes back to the fuel that we put into our spiritual bodies. We are all born with the seed of sin. From the sin of one man Adam, sin entered into this world. And sin when it is full bring death and eternal torment. It is our nature to sin. It just comes natural to us all, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Yet our spiritual bodies were not created to be fueled by sin, sin came through man’s desire to sin. Does that mean that we have no choice and doomed for eternal torment?
Thankfully the answer to that question is a resounding, NO
There is a Way
John 3:16- For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17- For God sent His son into the world not to condemn the world but that the world should be saved through Jesus Christ.
Jesus said to the Sanhedron Nicholdemius you must be born again. Unless you are born of the water, (The Phisical Birth)and of the Spirit, (The Spiritual Birth) you cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven.
So , no matter how old you are physically when you accept Jesus when you are born again you are a babe in Christ.
When we grow physically through the phisical fuel we put into our bodies and grow Spritually by our Spiritual fuel. So we asked, what type of Spiritual fuel is our spiritual bodies designed to run on?
That fuel is the Word of God. Just as we are taught to grow phisical by our phisical parents, we are taught Spiritualy by our Spiritual parent,God Himself.
Just as we look to our parents for knowing what is best for us, for truth and Guidence we now depend upon Our God for for truth and Guidence.
The difference is in our phisical teaching there is nobody perfect, so, we may get improper Guidence that may harm us rather then help us grow.
With God, He and His word is perfect, never erred, never lied, and will never misguide us. His only motivation is love for us and always wants what is best for us.
So,if we say with our tounge and believe in our minds that Jesus is our only savior and do not put His fuel in our tanks we will die on the vine, and not make it into eternal life.
Paul said we must confess with the mouth and believe in the heart that Jesus is Lord. Salvation has nothing with a head belief but rather a heart belief. That merely means you not only read the word of God but you follow the Word and apply it to your life.
We may know and say we need a parashutte to jump out of a plane but unless you put on your back your going to have an unhappy ending.
There are many religions that tell you other ways to eternal life but you WILL have an unhappy and unwanted ending. There is no other name under heaven you might be saved but Jesus Christ THE Lord.
Putting the right spiritual food in our souls not only assures us eternal life but in this life we receive God’s love, blessings and a peace beyond all understanding.
WE can do ALL things through JESUS Christ, our Lord.
Are you putting the right fuel in your tank or are you running on empty? Or are you putting a type of fuel that is destroying all that you really want to achieve.
There is an age old excuse many use. They say that God loves us and a God that Loves us will not send us to eternal torment. That is 100% true. God does not send anyone to eternal torment so He prepared a way to give us a choice as to where we want to spend eternity. God does not send us there, we choose to go there by rejecting Jesus
I encourage you to choose this day who you will serve. That choice has eternal consequences.
