Why would you read a blog on how to guarantee failure? Because if you knew the answer to that you would have the key to guarantee success. The question is which one do you want more than the other? Crazy question-after all who wants to fail? The answer is nobody. However even though nobody wants to fail the majority of people continue to practice a way of life that guarantees failure. They become their own worst enemies.
Are you where you want to be in life?
Do you feel left behind watching everyone else passing you?
Do you compare yourself to others? If so, do you compare yourself with those on the low rungs of the ladder of success or those at the top.
Do you feel complacement because you have found others worse than you and you quit trying because you are better off than other? Then you are guaranteeing yourself a failure.
Here it is:
We live in a blame game world. We find someone or something to blame our failures on. If that is what you are looking for, you will find it. You blame your upbringing, mother, father, brother sister, your boss, your teacher, employer, Pastor, the economy, stock market, local opportunities in your field of interest . You get so used to blaming others for your failures you even blame God. You get get so used to blaming someone else for your failure you will never overcome the real reasons. You just flounder through life waiting for the thing or person you blame to change.
In doing so you are planning on being where you are right now 5,10 or 15 yrs. You have a good reason for failure, after all your failure is not your fault, someone else is the blame so you just don’t try.
THAT IS HOW TO TO GUARANTEE FAILURE.
The truth of the matter is that there is no one to blame for your failure except YOU. Yes you are where you are today because of your choices.
Yes, someone else may be responsible for your current problem or failure but it is up to YOU to get yourself out of it. When you realize that you start to concentrate on the solution instead of the problem. You may fail many times at many things but you never become a true failure l you give up or blame someone else.
If you succeed or fail is a decision you make inside and nothing to do with others. Others cannot make fail, only YOU.
In Fort Myers there is the homestead of Thomas Edison. He has had more enventions than any other inventor in history. He was asked one time by a reporter, how can you keep trying to invent the light bulb after 1,000 failures. Thomas said, I didn’t fail 1,000 times I just found 1,000 ways it didn’t work.
When would you have quit? After the first, maybe third and convinced yourself, it couldn’t be done?
Herein lies the the key, NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP
This is the first step of many but a necessary one.
